Pasha Cashmere Shawl has been enriched with eastern sensibilities and heritage, while being complimented with contemporary design aesthetics to create a product unlike any before. The Pasha Cashmere Shawl has been made with 100% pure Cashmere, and offers not only the most luxurious sensory experience but also radiates with the warmth reminiscent of kindred spirits.
Cashmere pays homage to the valleys of Kashmir where the famed shawls were weaved and by late eighteenth century, had found their way to the far reaches of the world. The shawls thus produced were the essential garment to show pedigree, refined tastes and class. There is no doubt then, that Cashmere is not merely a relic of times gone by, set upon pedestals which speak of languages and lands not our own, and of oceans and mountains never traversed. This is warmth. This is tradition.
Cashmere is a naturally occurring fibre obtained from the majestic Pashmina goats found in Tibetan highlands and Inner Mongolia. An epitome of the unadulterated wild, the goat is known for its fine wool which keeps it warm during the harsh winters in the mountains. The cashmere fibre is collected from the undercoat of the animal, hidden beneath the coarser hair. Such is the quality of this nature’s bounty that it not only warms the heart it, does not weigh it down either. The yarn spun from the wool far surpasses any naturally occurring fibre, while its exquisite quality, length and flexibility make it ideal for dense spinning and weaving intricate artistry. Also famed for its natural stretch, resilience and long life, the fabric thus obtained is known to last a lifetime, if not more.
The Pasha Cashmere Shawl comes in a luxurious wooden box made of naturally seasoned Thorny Acacia wood, famed for its compact and thin grains. Much like Cashmere wool, the Thorny Acacia is known for its resilient nature and savage beauty. Hence, the box made is nothing short of a handmade artefact itself, where even the polishing and finishing has been done by hand. The box has been constructed without using any metal pieces, harkening back to ancient traditions of woodworking and joinery, yet has been engineered with contemporary aesthetics in mind.
- Such a thing of beauty is worthy of much care and respect. Cashmere acquires an even softer disposition with age and if taken care of correctly, can last a lifetime
- It is best to professionally dry-clean the shawl, which takes in account the sensitive nature of the fabric.
- It is recommended that Cashmere is cleaned before storage over large periods of time. Food particles can encourage insects which can lead to harm. Therefore, it is best to pack the shawl with an insect repellant.
- The accompanying 100% pure Cashmere Thread can be used to mend slight damage.
- Store your Pasha Cashmere Shawl in its original box. The shawl should be covered in the protective wrap provided, then placed in the box and stored in a dry dust free, well -aired space, away from direct sunlight. The box should be kept covered with its accompanying sleeve as well.
Your package will be delivered within 2-5 working days (for local orders) after you place an order. We use premium courier services for all shipments. A signature may be required on receipt of the parcel. If no person is available at your address to take the delivery of the parcel, the carrier will make 2 more attempts to deliver the parcel. Please note that we are unable to change a delivery address once the order has been dispatched.
Pasha is not responsible for any variance in colour or texture that might occur due to digital display on computers, phones, tablets ,etc. Therefore products cannot be returned or exchanged for this particular reason.
We will not be able to fulfil any return or exchange requests in some cases, including the following:
- The Product is not in its original form ie (tags, labels, packing or accessories are missing)
- Product is defected because of use.
- The time allowed for exchange/return has expired.
No product/Item ordered online can be exchanged at any authorized Pasha Retail/Distributer outlet.
In case you want to exchange your item because of a defect ,you may contact our customer service department by emailing us images of the defected product at info @pashafabrics.com or calling us at +92 0301-8480880 within 3 days of purchase.
After our team reviews the product and approves your request, you will be offered an exchange equal to the price of the returned product.
Refunds will, in most cases, be issued to the same credit card you used for the original purchase. You will be credited for the cost of the item(s) and applicable taxes. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable.
Please allow up to 14 days for the processing of any return. In case of credit cards, it can take two billing cycles before the credit is shown on your credit card statement.
The order may be cancelled at any time before it is confirmed. Once the order os dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation on your registered email address which will also include the tea king number. Once a product is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and the Return & Exchange policy will come into effect. We reserve the right to cancel an order for any reason, including, but not limited to the following:
- The item is out of stock
- Pricing errors or credit card is not accepted by the relevant financial institution
